Volvo V90 Cross has been launched in Indian market with a starting price tag of 60 lakhs. It is basically tougher version of Volvo 90 series family and third model after XC90 and S90 to be launched in India. It is currently being offered only in top-end D5 variant with seven color options.
Volvo V90 Cross has quite a lot of road presence which is evident since it has large dimensions and contrasting looks that gives it a muscular look. You will also find Volvo’s signature headlights, grill and sharp arrow tailamps.
Inside you will be greeted with large 10 inch infotainment system that controls almost everything. This includes controlling its climate control, heated seats, sunroof, heated steering wheel. Other notable features include eight airbags, seatbelt pre-tensioners, ISOFIX child seat mounting points, emergency brake assist, adaptive cruise control and city-safe technology.
Volvo V90 Cross will be making its way to market for 60 lakhs and would compete with likes of Audi A5, BMW X5, Mercedes Benz GLE 250D and Range Rover Evoque. Clearly, it has some odd rivals but then it was not made to compete with them anyway.
