Volvo XC40 teased on the Internet: Volvo XC40 coming to India later this year

Volvo XC40 India

Volvo is slated to launch the XC40 next month and ahead of its arrival, it has released a teaser image on the internet. The Volvo XC40 is a rival to the Mercedes GLA, Audi Q2 and newly launched Jaguar E-Pace. The new Volvo XC40 has been leaked ahead of its expected debut which will be taking place sometime in month of August. The leaks clearly show that the Volvo XC40 will be a shorter version of the Volvo’s XC60.

The rear end of the car has similar tail-lamps by which we mean the shame oddly shaped vertical LED lamps that are well known to people who are in-on with the Volvo XC-range of SUV cars. Technical details and specifications of the Volvo XC40 are not yet available but it will be more compact than the XC60.

We have also been told by our sources that Volvo XC40 will be coming to India and assembled in their local plant in Karnataka that is still being made. While there is no concrete date, Volvo XC40 will be launched in India at the end of this year. It might take it couple of months after its official launch in Europe.
